What IS it I read?

I’m almost constantly reading what I call, what you call, what the authors call and what the publishers call ‘Historical Fiction.’

You’d never know it though, from the myriad of lists, like the one above.

I’ve read two. Cloudsplitter and The Name of The Rose. That’s it. There are a couple others I could perhaps give a go, but no more than a couple.

No sign of any of the Historical Fiction authors I have read and recommended in the last ten years.

Why are they ignored?

And, what the f. is it I’m reading if it isn’t Historical Fiction?!
